The ghost trained at Harvard University and the Shakespeare Institute of the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. My work, in both theatre and early modern literature, explores how myth and ritual variously inhabit literary and performance based expression. I utilise a literary anthropological perspective to engage with underlying mythic structures in ways that are simultaneously academic and creative. Transcending traditionally established boundaries, my academic research promiscuously embraces illustrative elements of creative writing and performance-based practice. I am both a professional theatre maker and an academic researcher with numerous accolades, and I am currently seeking work in my fields. I try to remain aware of the potential pitfalls. As Nietzsche wrote, “One who fights with monsters should be careful lest he become a monster. When you are looking into the void, the void is also looking into you.”
